Duties
You will advise management on positions and personnel actions to include professional, technical and administrative occupations of all grade levels.
You will provide staffing, recruitment, and placement advice and assistance to managers and supervisors.
You will receive and review official Requests to Fill (RTF) to confirm accuracy of information such as position paragraph and line number, position description number, position title, grade and series, and resource management funding information.
You will review and analyze new and updated human resource management directives, policies, procedures, requirements, etc. for significant changes.
You will work with managers in the development of annual open season and out-of-cycle official structure change requests; ensures submissions comply with requirements of local directives and regulations to support requested changes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing regulatory and technical advisory services for civilian personnel policies, procedures and requirements; reviewing organizational workforce plans; and utilizing software programs to extract data from personnel management systems to generate reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
