In this role you will be part of a team dedicated to coordination of information and messaging, analyzing data, and supporting agency planning and program efforts for the Regional External Affairs. This position will have a particular emphasis on media relations and external communication.

To qualify for thisPublic Affairs Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Developing strategies to inform and educate stakeholders on the organization's offerings and accomplishments; Gathering information from multiple sources to provide accurate information to the public; and Coordinating special events such as ceremonies, tours and other activities to promote the agency programs.
