This position is located at Fort Gregg-Adams, Recreation Support Services Division - Marketing.
Duties
Provides marketing functional services to designated strategic business units. Develops, implements and evaluates a comprehensive marketing program in support of MWR programs services facilities and activities.
Analyzes programs and facilities, providing On-site review of merchandising, displays, customer service and finances. Makes recommendations for program improvements.
Determines what products and services should be offered and recommends promotional strategies. Evaluates strengths and weaknesses of programs. Determines optimum marketing mix to achieve objectives.
Identifies publicity and advertising needs. Designs promotional campaigns. Evaluates advertising and publicity efforts. Assists in developing major special events, promotions and sponsorship proposals.
Develops appropriated and nonappropriated fund budgetary requirements for marketing coordination.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

- A one year probationary period may be required as well as any additional required for position.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278e) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) upon entry, and annual thereafter.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The experience or education must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.
Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience must have be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level.
Ability to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel.
OR
Completion of the requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field.
Ability to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel.
HIGHLY PREFERRED are applicants who possess the minimum qualifications above AND:
Working at a Garrison in Marketing or Commercial Sponsorship Management for at least 2 of the previous 4 years.
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
