Duties

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** The Center of Education Program Analyst is responsible for handling the organization, coordination, implementation, maintenance and evaluation process for the clinical and educational programmatic elements. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops performance management tracking tools Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to develop program plans Extracts and evaluates statistical data from various resources Analyzes business practices and protocols to assess the effectiveness of operational objectives Makes recommendations for process improvements Plans and monitors resource utilization to meet the needs of the service Produces access, utilization and no show reports for all providers and trainees Responsible for compiling accurate data to prepare business plans Provides relevant clinical and/or administrative data to identify, quantify, and resolve organizational problems Ensures programmatic reporting databases are up to date and that reporting deadlines are met Performs other duties as assigned Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized Financial Disclosure Report: Not Required

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must meet one of the following requirements: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped them with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: plans, develops, directs, and evaluates administrative functions and projects in support of the Primary Care Center of Education; performing workflow assessment and optimization in clinical, administrative, and education programs; analyzes program performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and impact on a weekly basis providing a monthly round up report; makes recommendations for process improvements and provides recommendations for new process implementation; provides written interpretation narratives and oral reports to support statistical analysis. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week. ~OR~ SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (Transcript Required) - Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. ~OR~ COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Transcript Required) - Combination of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Physical Requirements/Work Environment: The work is mostly sedentary. It is usually accomplished while the employee is comfortably seated at a desk. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal day and in connection with travel to attend meetings and conferences away from the work site. No special physical effort or ability is required to perform the work. Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office setting. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting, and training rooms.
