About the Position: The U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command, headquartered in North Chicago, IL, is a jointly staffed command, staffed by representatives of all branches of the Armed Forces. The command, through its 66 military processing locations (Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS)/Remote Processing Stations (RPS)), determines whether applicants are qualified for enlistment based on standards set by each of the services. This is a permanent position.

Duties

As a Management Analyst, you will: Serve as a Management Analyst in the administration of accession and operations processes and initiatives. Develop data analyses to evaluate alternative courses of action using sound judgment for addressing business problems and provides recommendations for solution. Plan and carry out projects and provide recommendations for solutions to problems encountered. Represent the organization at various internal and external organizational/agency meetings to participate in/provide information on staff planning and decision-making processes. Collaborate with other staff to provide support and input for strategic planning efforts, governance, and transformation initiatives. Examine, evaluate, and implement projects executing project management. Advise superiors of the progress of various projects and any unusual complications or matters, with recommendations.
