Duties
As a Facilities and Property Management Specialist, you will:
Function as contracting officer representative (COR) for various management services contracts.
Develop policies and programs to meet the requirements of Executive Order 13327, Federal Real Property Asset Management.
Develop policies and programs to effectively manage FinCEN personal property assets, fleet, and logistics.
Develop policies and programs to reduce the impact of FinCEN real and personal property operations on the environment.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing responsibilities associated with logistics, transportation, space management, asset management, and administrative support activities.; AND
Experience in purchasing equipment and services that meets federal government procurement laws, guidelines, and internal controls.; OR
Experience organizing and delivering customer service support to carryout duties involving facility maintenance, renovation projects, records storage and disposal, property inventory, procurement, and fleet management responsibilities.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
