You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist (Intel Analyst) in the Visual & Technical Info Support Branch of the EOD Information Management Division of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. NT-05 is equivalent to the GS 13/14 The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).

Duties

You will direct and perform analytical duties to include support of Counter-IED programs, Counter-WMD programs, Counter-Terrorism, and Ordnance Countermeasures. You will direct the collection, analysis, evaluation, interpretation and dissemination of EOD-related information. You will assemble discreet inputs from a variety of sources into coherent reports/assessments which can include making determinations on the validity and reliability of the information. You will monitor emerging technologies for potential clandestine application or technical intelligence production/analysis. You will analyze and respond to request for information.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating data or intelligence gaps on domestic and foreign weapons systems or subsystems to maintain information databases for ordnance publication systems.
