You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the PEO(CS), Security Cooperation Program Office (CSSCPO) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.

Duties

You will advise cross-functional groups in all phases of a strategic management process (e.g., strategic planning, performance planning, execution, strategic measurement). You will brief senior leaders on the stages of programs or projects (e.g., status, technical challenges, scheduling, cost). You will create written reports to disseminate program information across multiple professions, programs, or organizations. You will partner with internal and external personnel (e.g., government agencies, contractors, foreign governments, military representatives) to gain acceptance and cooperation for international acquisition programs. You will negotiate with internal and external contacts to settle programmatic issues.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A-Program Management (PM) Level 2. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications
