This position is located in the Platform Services Section (PSS), within the Application Platforms and Delivery Branch (APDB), Division of Information Technology, Chief Information Officer Organization. APDB has primary responsibility for providing application solutions to enable efficient business operations and drive business agility.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as hands-on experience in Salesforce core components such as Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Platform, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analytics and performing platform management activities in an enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, including architecting and integrating new platform services and troubleshooting platform issues.
For CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as hands-on experience in Salesforce core components such as Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Platform, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analytics and managing and leading an enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, including architecting, integrating and configuring new platform services and capabilities, creating platform architecture models, translating requirements into solutions, building prototypes, assessing architecture soundness, and troubleshooting platform issues.
In addition, Basic Requirements: IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Attention to Detail - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant keeps abreast of latest technology, information, research, etc., to maintain knowledge in field of expertise (for example, reads trade journals, participates in professional/technical associations, maintains credentials).
Customer Service - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant promotes or develops and maintains good working relationships with key individuals or groups.
Oral and Written Communication - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant serves on panels, committees, or task forces as a representative for the organization on technical or professional issues.
Problem Solving - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant monitors current trends or events (for example, technological, economic, political, social, educational, or employment trends or events) and applies the information as appropriate.
