This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's Supervision, Enforcement, and Fair Lending Division's Office of Enforcement.
The CFPB Analyst (Enforcement) assists Enforcement management and staff attorneys in a variety of very complex activities and functions necessary to effectuate the Bureau's enforcement mission.

As a Consumer Financial Protection Analyst (Enforcement) you will:
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
To qualify at CN-53, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band/grade (CN-52, GS-12 or equivalent) in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is:
Conducting research on consumer protection laws to draft deliverables such as research memoranda, briefs, and other filings for staff; AND
Reviewing legal documents for conformance with stated objectives, guidelines, procedures, and policies and recommends resolution to potential problems or inconsistencies; AND
Participating in investigatory and litigation activities, such as reviewing materials received and formulating recommendations for staff, preparing or reviewing responses, conducting interviews, synthetizing and organizing materials, preparing for, attending, and testifying in hearings; AND
Monitoring compliance with document management and storage and retention systems and procedures for investigations and litigation; AND
Experience developing and implementing methods for reporting and developing controls to track and monitor the progress of work.
