About the Position: This position is with the Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate Military Program, Interagency/International Services Community of Practice located in Washington, DC.This is an obligated position and it will be filled on a Temporary basis, not to exceed 1 year and may be extended up to five years. Cannot be made permanent.
This position will provide three (3) days a week of telework after a training period.
Duties
Apply analytical techniques and statistical methods to track progress and identify problems.
Provide analyses conclusions that impact policy determinations, organization studies, and future program development.
Recommend corrective actions or revised procedures based on analyses, studies and guidance.
Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program progress regarding design, construction/procurement, and fiscal control.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is a Temporary Promotion position intended to last one-year. A temporary position may be extended to a maximum of five years and may be terminated at any time during the duration of the appointment, depending upon the needs of management.
- The incumbent must complete the DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification and continuous learning requirements in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384.
- The position requires the incumbent to lift up to 10 lbs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: monitor ongoing construction/procurement projects by reviewing reports, programming documents, construction directives, funds authorization and other program materials; assist with conducting special military construction/procurement studies to address current and historical problems and determine possible improvements to the overall Security Assistance program; assist with devising program analysis means and methods within applicable policies, objectives, and regulations; recommend changes in program operations and resource allocation to resolve problems and achieve maximum effectiveness; assist with program execution over all analytical elements in support of worldwide design, construction/procurement, and core competencies of facilities, infrastructure, and case projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
