About the Position: The Alaska District is seeking to fill the Supervisory Interdisciplinary position located in the South Branch. An ideal candidate will have experience in administering and enforcing the U.S. Army Corps Regulatory Program, possess an in-depth knowledge of associated environmental laws and regulations. They should possess excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills; be detail-orientated with a passion for helping others, and exceptional customer service skills.

Duties

Ensures compliance with the governing public laws and regulations, interagency agreements, policies of Corps Headquarters and the directives of the District Commander. Acts as advisor to the Branch Chief on the executions of the regulatory program. Plans and directs through subordinate staff the implementation of functional responsibilities of a Regulatory Section which includes the following activities. Within geographic area of responsibility, counsels potential applicants concerning the geographic extent of the Corps regulatory jurisdiction and permitting procedures and requirements. Establishes production goals, priorities, and major work schedules. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and establishes schedules for completion of work.
