This position is located in the Office of Investigations (OI), Rockville, Maryland, Headquarters Office. The supervisor is Jerry Prichard, OI Deputy Director. This position is Non-Bargaining Unit. This position is not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure or Security Ownership Restriction reporting requirements.
Duties
As the Investigations Program Assistant, provides support to senior management and staff of the headquarters Office of Investigations (OI) by handling all procedural and administrative aspects of the investigations program. Serves as a liaison between field offices, regional and headquarters staff, and OI headquarters on procedural and administrative matters pertaining to OI’s program.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. For GG-10: One year of specialized experience at the GG-9 grade level or equivalent.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Demonstrated skill in managing various administrative and investigative support programs in an independent office. Ability to recognize, identify, and consult with supervisor on matters within areas of work responsibilities, analyze procedural matters, identify problems, recommend and implement solutions.
For GG-11: One year of specialized experience at the GG-10 grade level or equivalent. In addition to the experience listed at the GG-10 level the applicant must have experience with new and unusually difficult and complex assignments applicable to the various administrative and investigative support programs in an independent office.
