You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Test and Evaluation Department, Business & Planning Office (Code 20B) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will develop and maintain reporting tools and metrics for customer funds management, workload forecasting and execution for assigned projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters assigned to the unique projects within the department. You will provide financial information, analytical and evaluative advice to Customer Advocates, management and personnel at all levels concerning direct, overhead, service cost center and capital investment fund expenditures. You will monitor execution of funds at a macro-level and initiate and recommend final billing actions on completed projects. You will conduct detailed analyses of project performance and make recommendations for financial improvement. You will serve as the Department liaison for one or more Customer Advocates, divisions or branches and provide oversight of financial operations to ensure fiscal control and proper execution of funds. You will perform long-range planning activities using the approved NUWC Division Keyport workload planning process/system for assigned projects.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

our resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing program data (i.e. financial, workload) to develop plans that ensure optimal project or program efficiencies.
