About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Business/Operations Branch at Fort Meade, MD.
Serves as the organizational Command Supply Discipline Program Coordinator.
Duties
Performs warehousing work in receiving, issuing, and relocating of supplies and equipment.
The incumbent loads and unloads conveyances; moves items by handcart or similar conveyance; checks items against proper documentation, making proper notations on same, and reporting discrepancies and damage to Supervisor.
Pack, unpack, sort, tally, stack, and move items.
Reviews/validates request for equipment and supplies to ensure compliance with applicable authorization documentation.
Ensures accountability and management of all hand receipts.
Serve as logistical liaison for supply activities.
Work with individual and sub hand receipt holders to increase their understanding of hand receipts and accountability.
Advise the SANEC Director on actions that relate to accountability.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
- May be required to work overtime outside normal duty hours, on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- The employee must possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
- A physical examination is required due to heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by conducting logistical actions required to support specified missions or designated programs; processing supply forms or other documentation pertaining to receipt, issue, transfer, or shipment of property; managing purchase cards to ensure authorized purchases meet program requirements; and, assisting with maintaining purchase receipts or material goods.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: business administration, logistics and supply chain management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
