About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. We believe in "Mission First, People Always" to enable the synchronized aviation, missile and calibration materiel enterprises. The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command AMCOM Logistics Center Industrial Operations DIR-AWCF-MSL however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.
Duties
Perform studies regarding logistics depot operations and mission performance, process identification or improvement, workload levels, and organizational alignment for the purpose of realizing economies or improving mission performance.
Maintain complex depot maintenance logistics support policies, procedures, and directives which document the methods, techniques, program, plans and processes required to provide logistics support to the command’s depot maintenance mission.
Interpret and assess the impact of new or revised policies, regulations and directives impacting the command depot operations and center logistics support.
Perform workload analysis and supports development of depot budgets and execution.
Requirements
- Position requires the incumbent to possess, obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Position requires the incumbent to travel away from the duty station 25% of the time.
- Position requires Foundational Level 1 Acquisition Certification (Life Cycle Logistics) within 36 months of entrance on duty.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUE:
This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position. The employee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification assigned on the sequenced position Conditions of Employment data fields in the header of the PD/PRD.
Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3 years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includeslogistical collaboration, and significant expertise and depth in missile systems logistics operations; experienced in areas of logistics operations or management programs to include technical ability to evaluate and resolve weapons systems interface, hardware and software problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
