You will serve as the Tasking Officer of the Farragut Technical Analysis Center at the Office of Naval Intelligence. Assisting in discharging Center daily operations and management functions. Developing and implementing standard operating procedures concerning command and center level tasking for FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER.
Duties
You will requires substantive knowledge Farragut programs, activities, missions, policies, and objectives to properly route and track assignment of official tasks.
You will maintain technical expertise in the automated tasking programs utilized by ONI through participation in tasking working groups and training sessions.
You will liaison with Defense Intelligence Community on national database tasking system and maintain cross-organizational relationships within Naval Intelligence community.
You will become the primary backup for the Farragut Center Assistant Operations Officer in the absence of the Assistant Operations Officer and will train to perform the associated duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
Plan and carry out all assignments necessary for the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of management processes in his/her assigned area.
Identify gaps in materials, specifies methods and requirements to fill gaps, and evaluates the information collected in response to those requirements.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures concerning command and center level tasking.
