About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the This position is located at the U.S. Army NETCOM Headquarters ACOFS G-2 Intelligence Security Division with a duty location of Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Duties
Serves as a Security Specialist with responsibility for administration of multiple security programs for Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Assistant Chief of Staff, G2.
Administers the INFOSEC Program for Headquarters, NETCOM, ensuring the protection of classified information across the headquarters staff.
Serves as an advisor to the NETCOM G2, Chief of Security, and HQs NETCOM staff for SSO functions.
Provides guidance to the NETCOM G2, Chief of Security, and HQs NETCOM staff for Foreign Disclosure.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment.

Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled.
