This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The National Personnel Records Center (NPRC), a component of Agency Services (A), operates under the Federal Records Center Program (FRCP) and responds to roughly 1.5 million customer requests per year. The proactive management and control of all primary and support systems required to accomplish this mission is paramount to its success.
Duties
As a Supervisory Mgmt & Program Analyst, you will:
Lead teams of Management Analysts responsible for executing the following types of systems oversight and control responsibilities.
Perform historical analysis of Technician's past performance and recommend workload composition changes to the Center management team.
Provide appropriate Levels I, 2, and 3 Functional support services for Center-level production and support systems (real-time and data warehouse) and external systems for which we have been delegated administration oversight responsibilities.
Schedule and coordinate work and is accountable for the effectiveness and accomplishment of management actions and results, as well as management studies and its reports and materials produced in final form.
Review and develop procedures and initiate methods to develop and improve measurement procedures for selected program areas within the Center or within FRCP.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Developing operating improvement and techniques through use of manual and automated systems, procedures, methods, and/or techniques; AND
- Conducting management and systems studies; AND
- Managing production workload of a team or organization; AND
- Providing subject matter expertise governing business systems design, implementation, operation,
security and support.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.
