This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will assist journeyman carpenters working in groups on larger projects and perform related duties as assigned. You will repair various types of roofs. You will install flashings, gutters, gravel stops and vent jacks. You will lay metal roofing panels or sheets of various types, overlapping and staggering edges to provide proper watershed and closing seams. You will replace damaged parts on a structure and replace vinyl tiles.

Requirements

Qualifications

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements listed below. The individual supports journeyman carpenters on larger projects and performs assigned duties, including routine tasks and basic woodworking. They also independently handle repetitive tasks and conduct measurements and fittings for various woodworking jobs, such as scaffolds and wall panels, while performing structural repairs and replacing vinyl tiles.
