About the Position: This is a Plans and Operations Specialist position located at 128th AVN BDE at Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between Historic Colonial Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach. The Hampton Roads area has all the conveniences of a large city with charm of small towns.
Duties
Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, training and synchronizing the daily operations in support of its missions, ceremonies, training support requirements, and operations.
Serve as a problem solver in the organization regarding problem areas and provide recommendations for their solution.
Represent the organization at the installation training resource meetings to ensure ranges, training, maneuver areas, and simulation facilities are reserved and can adequately support the training mission.
Emergency Management Program Manager that organizes, plans, reports, and coordinates with both internal and external agencies to assist in the management of emergency when they arise.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- SECRET CLEARANCE - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 ).
