The primary purpose of this position is to perform specialized project management support and data management and program analysis functions in support of the Associate Director of Resources initiatives and partnering with Facility management officials and the subordinate staff.

Duties

Ensures internal administrative controls and reporting have been established to provide reasonable assurance that government resources are protected against fraud, waste, mismanagement, or misappropriation.
Develops detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of the program.
Develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
Prepares and presents formal and informal oral and written reports and briefings on the staffing, progress, and results of studies, planning, initiatives, and implementation and execution of programs to hospital staff and senior leadership.
Uses oral and written communications to prepare and present briefings.
Conveys recommendations to management staff and attend meetings, conferences, and ad hoc meetings.
Identifies resource needs of unique and special interest projects/programs for presentation to key leaders.
Identifies and develops ways to resolve problems or cope with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives.
Develops new ways to resolve major administrative problems or plans the most significant administrative management aspects of professional or scientific programs.
Participates in and or leads/facilitates projects and studies involving programs and functions under the Associate Director purview.
Performs specialized project management support in support of the Associate Director initiatives.
Coordinates and communicates on behalf of the Associate Director when assigned to various projects and initiatives.
Performs research and fact-finding for a variety of projects, including analysis, trend identification, and preliminary recommendations based on findings.
Performs data management and program analysis functions in support of the Associate Director initiatives.
Analyzes interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of substantive mission oriented programs.
Coordinates with all levels of the Directors Office Staff, Departments, and other stakeholders, to effect expeditious and effective planning for assigned programs and projects.
Communicates and treats customers (patients, visitors, volunteers, and all Hospital staff) in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner.
Handles conflict and problems in dealing with customers constructively and appropriately.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13: Must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to qualify for position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service. Qualifying specialized experience includes: Participates in projects and studies; performs research and fact-finding for a variety of projects; provides guidance, support and input to the top management team; coordinates with all levels of the Directors Office Staff, Divisions, and other stakeholders; makes decisions to revise, alter, adjust, or change course of action to assure overall programmatic requirements and objectives are met; prepares and presents formal and informal oral and written reports and briefings; and ensures internal administrative controls and reporting have been established to provide reasonable assurance that government resources are protected against fraud, waste, mismanagement, or misappropriation.

IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates.
