You will serve as a METALS INSPECTOR TRAINING LEADER in the FST Engineering Division of the FST Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will participate in training programs covering the field of non-destructive inspection including formal classroom and on-the-job training. You will perform on-the-job instruction, preparing training materials/presentations and maintaining training records. You will evaluate progress of trainees and discuss training with individual participants.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Instruct. Have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including: 1) Understand the operations and functions of non-destructive inspection equipment. 2) Participation in training programs covering the field of non-destructive inspection including formal classroom and on-the-job training. 3) Experience performing on-the-job instruction, preparing training materials/presentations and maintaining training records. 4) Possessing the skills and knowledge of a journeyman metals inspector.
