You will serve as a Supervisory Logisitcs Management Specialist in the FST DEPT of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will serve as the acknowledged expert for logistics support related to the assigned aircraft or engine and act as a representative of the NAVAL Air Systems Command for matters relating to acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics. You will coordinate program direction and assignments, assist in planning, analysis and execution of the effective Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Logistics Support Program. You will be capable of resolving conflict and successfully negotiating solutions to complex technical issues. You will direct and manage the efforts/tasks of LEMS, technical data managers, data analysts, and other specialists from within and outside of the command to ensure optimal ILS is attained. You will identify aircraft/engine ILS program planning and execution problems. You will review acquisition planning and procurement documents to ensure integration of systems command policies, procedures, contract provisions and contract data requirements for ILS and related programs. You will prepare and make oral and written presentations to clearly present specific problems, to provide detailed recommendations to actual or potential problems, or to influence others to adapt specific ILS related proposals or recommendations.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying supply support concepts and theories to ensure adequate supply and to forecast parts usage and future demand; 2) Provisioning and supplying file maintenance processes in order to follow code changes; 3) Understanding logistics management policies and processes to utilize technical directives and understanding of configuration; 4) Ensuring technical manuals are current through review in order to update processes; 5) Managing logistics workload and plan of work of subordinates in order to provide support in both technical and administrative aspects; 6) Creating and analyzing reports in Maintenance Tasks Analysis, Maintenance Plans, Provisioning Requirements and Provisioning Parts List Index.
