Duties
In the role of Deputy Director to the Director of the Logistics Division, the incumbent plays a pivotal role as the second-in-command. This involves collaborating with the Director to shape business strategies, policies, and procedures while upholding Division performance standards. The position entails both technical and administrative supervision of subordinate management, encompassing the establishment of annual performance objectives, addressing personnel, and operational challenges affecting assigned tasks. Additionally, the Deputy Director may represent the Director in meetings with other organizations and commands concerning MCCS construction projects, maintenance of facilities, and programs.

Qualifications
A minimum of five years of experience that demonstrates knowledge and experience in applying the principles, methods, techniques to oversee the management and administration of construction, facilities and maintenance functions OR an appropriate combination of education and experience which the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above.Must be motivated and demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks. Proven track record in developing and executing strategies that achieve organizational goals. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skill. Ability to think critically and make decisions based on operational commitments. Must be able to work independently and in stressful situations.This job will require travel to Regional Installations on a regular basis.Directly responsible for compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety guidelines and regulations
