Duties
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for the administration and management of the MCCS Facilities and Maintenance, which includes overseeing facility and maintenance repair and projects, renovations, minor construction, budgeting, contract and bid proposals, facility planning, project planning, design contracting, project administration and control, and repair and maintenance of equipment in support of activities. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the construction repair and alteration of buildings and outdoor facilities. They will review and approve drawings and blueprints and provide recommendations to Operating Directors on interior space planning, workstation layout, vehicle access, and space management. Moreover, the incumbent will act as the primary point of contact with Base and Headquarters elements on construction and maintenance matters.

Qualifications
A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in construction and renovation projects, showcasing comprehensive knowledge in this field. Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role within the construction industry is a mandatory requirement. Proficiency in understanding how government projects are meticulously planned and executed, encompassing contract and bid proposals. Possessing a general knowledge of the various trades pertinent to facilities and maintenance work is essential. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, showcasing the ability to efficiently utilize its tools for effective project management and communication. Exemplary professional writing and communication skills, which are vital for conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively. This is a white-collar position that involves frequent lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 30 lbs. and occasional lifting of over 50 lbs.
