About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Specialist responsible for providing employee development and training services within the Army Benefits Center - Civilian (ABC-C).

Duties

Develop training, plans, and course material for federal benefits and retirement. Schedule, facilitate and instruct federal benefits courses via classroom or teams to Benefits HR professionals. Liaison to DCPAS for benefits, credentialing and certification programs. Serve on working groups as the subject matter expert. Provide input for automated training systems; provide updates to policies and production procedures from analysis of new and emerging benefits procedures. Develop feedback methods for course material to evaluate program and enhance future training to meet the needs of the mission. Provide briefings on a regular and cyclic basis to internal and external customers over benefits topic areas. Author articles to be posted on various social media platforms to educate federal employees.

Specialized Experience: One year Specialized Experience which includes: manage training classes; compile survey results; provide HR civilian training to the HR workforce; develop training reports and presentations; brief internal and external customers on HR civilian benefits. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-9).
