About the Position: Serve as a civilian harm mitigation and response action officer within the Headquarters Department of the Army providing direct support to areas of implementation of the Secretary of Defense-directed Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response-Action Plan (CHMR-AP).

Duties

Support the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army on matters related to civilian harm mitigation and response. Consolidate Army civilian harm mitigation and response inputs into U.S. Government (USG) reports Assist in the formulation of Army positions on such issues, and prepares congressional testimony and reports, briefing materials, and background papers for the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army Develop and review policy, programs, analysis of military education and training to advance integration of civilian harm mitigation and response concepts into Army and Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Collaborate with Army and DoD stakeholders to develop policies, strategies, and doctrine across specified areas of responsibility. Lead regular internal and external synchronization meetings involving the ACOMS, ASCCs, and CP CoE Develops and maintains civilian harm mitigation and response knowledge management (KM) catalogues for the civilian harm mitigation and response community.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Influencing/NegotiatingReading ComprehensionStrategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
