The primary purpose of this position is to act as a Program Specialist, with the responsibility of implementing, managing, and coordinating various elements of the Trusted Agent Security Program for the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC).
Duties
Implements and administers the Trusted Agent Security Program for the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC)
This role involves assisting Acquisition Excellence Directorate and staff agency representatives in the development and implementation of security education and motivation programs
This role involves completing specific tasks for the Division and its assigned functions
In the role of a trusted agent for the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), this position involves following established procedures to grant access to over 5,000 contractors across the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Department of Defense (DoD) in accordance with DoD (DoDM 1000.13- M-V1) and DAF guidance

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes applying applying principles and organizational structure of the specific program and/or functional field to support the assigned systems and database management services program; analytical and evaluative methods to develop, monitor, and analyze applicable statistical data to track and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of programs, conduct program evaluations, identify problems, and resolve inefficiencies; and developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, procedures and training regarding the proper execution of research funds.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120 day rosters, applicants within 120 days of completion of the TIG requirement are encouraged to apply.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the principles, theories, techniques, practices, mission, and organizational structure of the Trusted Agent Security Program to support program administration responsibilities.
2. Knowledge of the laws, regulations, principles, and practices to advise and provide operations support to the Division.
3. Skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness.
4. Ability to prepare special studies and staff reports, including the ability to meet emergency and/or changing program requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quality or quantity of work.
5. Ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate well with others, orally and in writing, including preparing and conducting formal and informal briefings.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
