Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Deputy Budget Director duties.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-14) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Knowledge in the application of federal budget formulation and execution policies and processes.
2. Knowledge in the application of independent analyses of policy, program, and resource issues.
3. Knowledge in the application of NRC (or other agency) automated financial systems and associated software.
4. Knowledge in the application of overseeing the planning, direction, and timely execution of budget operations (managed by subordinate units) including development, assignment, and goals and objectives for supervisors and managers of subordinate units as well as subordinate personnel actions.
5. Knowledge in the application of communicating information, ideas, and advice in a clear, concise, and logical manger, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, senior management, presidential appointees (e.g. Commission), members of the public, representatives of other Federal agencies.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience in the application of the principles, theories, and practices in the budget process. Must demonstrate working knowledge of issues significant to operational excellence and particularly those related to budget formulation and execution in order to facilitate agency resource planning and analyses. Also demonstrates ability to communicate policy, financial, and administrative issues both orally and in writing.
