About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Preventative Medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market. Duties

The incumbent of this position evaluates, plans and carries out treatment and prevention techniques, adapting and modifying established physical therapy methods necessary to treat a wide range of physical disabilities and disease. Administer various immunizations and administers PPDs (TB skin tests). Make referrals of complex cases to other health care providers (OHN/OHPA/MD) as necessary. Compile information from records maintained, telephone contacts, written communications, and historical reports for internal and external special and recurring reports. Function as the Infection Control Representative for the Occupational Health Clinic. Assist the staff with worker risk evaluations, preparation for in-service training seminars, and other OH projects as needed. Prepare patients for and conducts occupational health screenings in the OH Clinic and at the worksite.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting medical screenings; administering immunizations and specialized tests for hearing, vision, skin, pulmonary, and the heart; preparing and maintaining office records, medical files, and patient appointments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: On full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the position, such as, Healthcare, Patient Care. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
