About the Position: This position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with the Directorate of Missile and Aerospace Readiness (DMAR), Office of the Director.
Duties
Perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the Director and management staff.
Establish controls to ensure compliance with governing regulations and policies.
Work directly with staff on training, time and attendance, supply requests, and personnel actions.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and operating procedures using automated systems and software.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Secret security clearance required.
- Temporary position, may be extended up to a maximum of five years.
Qualifications
This position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment not to exceed 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.
Position may be filled as a temporary appointment not to exceed 1 year, if candidate is NOT a current permanent Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) preparing administrative and technical documents for personnel, property accountability, and supply operations; 2) establishing priorities and assisting management with organizational suspenses; and 3) performing clerical/data entry tasks to coordinate schedules, file management, and correspondence routing for the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
