You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Command Government Program Manager (CGPM), Commander Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Intelligence Directorate (N2) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.

Duties

You will plan, organize, evaluate, maintain and administer the Special Access for PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT serving as the subject matter expert on security matters relating to all facilities. You will ensure policies, procedures, standards, and training for PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT personnel indoctrinated into Special Access programs are accomplished. You will coordinate the installation of protection systems and devices to ensure that sensitive information, equipment, and other material is not compromised or sabotaged, You will devise, inspect, analyze and evaluate protection systems which provide maximum security with the least interference to the organization's mission.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing personnel security program as a Special Access Program Control Officer (SAPCO), Special Security Officer (SSO), Controlled Access Program (CAPCO), or equivalent. Experience in providing Command support in managing, directing and administering the operation of a Special Security Program as listed above, providing staff and force-wide security support services including management and accountability of highly sensitive material.
