About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with Approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Review new workload or proposed revision of production methods for depot and contractor work operations. Prepare statements of work and contract delivery orders. Monitor contract execution for environmental compliance and management system improvement projects. Attend project review meetings to provide professional input on environmental requirements based on regulations, laws, and executive orders.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Environmental Assessment and Data AnalysisEnvironmental Compliance and Preventive ActionEnvironmental Document PreparationEnvironmental Policy and Strategy DevelopmentLeadership Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
