This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO - ACIO Cyber Security & CISO. As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will provide leadership and expert technical advice on developing and implementing policies, programs, and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of information systems throughout the organization.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Analyze findings and develop long-range plans for security systems that minimize risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent security incidents, and insure systems reliability.
Prioritize, schedule, and track requests and problems to be evaluated, develops assessment criteria, and ensures timely and complete responses to users.
Serves as a COMSEC Manager and provides COMSEC support in many areas for the Treasury Departmental Offices and Treasury Bureaus.
NSA Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) electronic key support for Treasury Circuits. Keeps inventory records of electronic keying material and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI).
Secure Voice and Maintenance support. Installation and programming of Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) equipment.
COMSEC equipment testing, trouble shooting, repair and maintenance.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Specialized experience is defined as Information Technology experience in IT Cybersecurity estimating security resource and reliability requirements, reporting and defining deliverable. Examples of this experience may include experience:
Analyzing IT security investments or portfolio; OR
Managing organizations IT budget; OR
Managing IT acquisitions, which can include working with IT professionals.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Specialized experience is defined as Cybersecurity Information Technology experience analyzing security resource and reporting requirements. Examples of this experience may include experience in:
IT project management; OR
Supporting the preparation and monitoring organizations IT budget; OR
Supporting the procurement of IT products and services.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
