Duties
Provides administrative, technical, and policy direction affecting a wide range of systems/subsystems and provides authoritative advice and technical expertise for a variety of functional IT arenas.

Continually evaluates and improves IT management operations and develops methods, strategies, and initiatives for enhancing efficiency, reducing cost, assuring customer satisfaction, and improving customer support.
Requires knowledge of principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices governing Information Technology (i.e., computers, network components, peripheral equipment, software, hardware, IT services, etc.) combined with the knowledge of the ....

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/NETWORK), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Plans and directs activities involving overall functional responsibility for IT initiatives and solutions; Initiatives include the deployment of applications to aid in the acquisition, installation, management, maintenance, design and support of Personal Computer, Network Operating Systems, File Server/Host Systems, LAN and WAN requirements, hardware and software reliability, information assurance for assigned segments of IT Management Program.
Supports and provides technical expertise to users to monitor, maintain, assure, and improve the effectiveness of administrative and logistics management systems which directly impact supply responsiveness and logistics management of customers.
Considers applications/ramifications of evolving technologies, emerging systems, and Agency-mandated programs and forecasts, evaluates, and integrates developed and/or projected IT user requirements with existing/envisioned systems/subsystems, database development and data storage (including actual, emerging and anticipated systems capacity) and customer service, support and satisfaction initiatives.
