These positions are located at Cape Cod National Seashore in the Maintenance Division. Temporary positions not-to-exceed 1039 regular hours in a service year may be terminated sooner depending on management needs. The typical seasonal period is November - April but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.

Duties

The purpose of this position is to perform the maintenance, repair, and construction of park trails. Perform masonry work, primarily dry stone, in the construction, stabilization, and maintenance of park trail systems. Perform carpentry work on trail structures such as log checks, foot bridges, stairs, and boardwalks. Transport tools and materials to jobsites and trailheads. For WG: Applicants must be physically fit and, as required in Office of Personnel Management Qualifications Handbook, must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the elements listed in Section 25 of the Online Occupational Questionnaire to perform the duties of the position at the level for which they are applying.
