You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (WATER SURVIVAL) in the Naval Medicine Operational Training Center (NMOTC) of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER.

Duties
You will prepare records and equipment for Diving Operational Readiness Assessments and Safety Surveys
You will maintain records for diving qualifications (Dive Logs), conducting preventative maintenance on systems (PMS) and diving system certifications.
You will maintain the quarterly and weekly maintenance using 3M system.
You will conduct diver training.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience. Examples of Qualifying Experience:
Experience performing diving operations on a Navy Second Class Diver level; a Navy First Class Diver is preferred, or similar class diver;
Experience instructing military and civilian sector in diving safety procedures;
Experience applying swimming safety procedures;
and Experience conducting underwater breathing exercises.

Education
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
