This position is located in the Civil Division, Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of Management Programs (OMP). As a Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist, the incumbent serves as the System Owner for several important IT systems. One of these systems is a publicly accessible web application system that includes database systems. The incumbent is responsible for the activities related to the system certification and accreditation.

The duties and responsibilities for a GS-2210-15 Supervisory IT Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

• May require completion of a one year supervisory probationary period.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory IT Specialist at (GS-2210-15), you must possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former federal employee, please provide your last or most recent SF-50 (not an award SF-50) and if applicable, the SF-50 that reflects the highest grade level held on a permanent basis. To qualify for the GS-15 Supervisory IT Specialist, you must demonstrate that you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the federal service which involves experience in serving as an Information System Owner responsible for the overall performance of at least one system, establishing security controls to protect IT systems and data, evaluating employee's performance, serving as a COTR in monitoring vendor/contractor performance, and developing comprehensive programs to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, and efficiency of organizational activities.
