You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the AVIONICS/WEAPONS INTERGRATION ENGINEERING DIVISION, SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will coordinate with internal and external agencies to bring resources or problem resolution solutions in order to keep overall project schedules intact.
You will assist with project planning, resources, requirements, schedules and financial accountability across all 3 F/A-18 platforms.
You will assist product leads and project team members on identifying and managing risks and risk mitigation strategies.
You will acquire credentials and training to perform as an FMS Alternate Foreign Contact Officer (FCO) to assist with hosting the foreign System Coordination Officer (SCO) and the contractor support staff.
You will draft and coordinate official meeting minutes and program status updates and distribute to project team members and stakeholders as required.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Drafting and coordinating reports, manuals, studies, official memos, and presentations and present information, as needed, to U.S. and foreign team members.; 2) Acquiring credentials and training to perform as an Foreign Military Sales Alternate Foreign Contact Officer (FCO) to assist with hosting the foreign System Coordination Officer (SCO) and the contractor support staff; 3) Acting as assistant senior representatives for all matters pertaining to multiple legacy F/A-18 & EA-18G Foreign Military Sales cases; 4) Assisting with implementing guidelines and policies for Foreign Military Sales releasability of classified documentation and software products to supported countries.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
