About the Position: Serves as the Program/Project Manager and Team Lead for the District's Military Program. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in providing technical expertise, guidance, and/or oversight for the district's most complex facility projects related to their expertise.

Duties

Responsible for technical functions of projects, which include studies, models, coordination, engineering preparation, oversight, review, documentation of designs associated with projects and/or sub-projects, and/or oversight of tasks. Manages and directs the efficient and effective execution of all district military projects including project initiation, planning, scoping, design, construction acquisition, financial management, closeout, and progress reporting. Functions as the District's primary point of contact and authority for all matters concerning the District’s Military Program. Ensures that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products, and services. Leads the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload/tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization. Assures products are completed in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) policies and guidance. Serves as a principal advisor to the Branch Chief regarding all technical matters relating to area of expertise and military projects/program in the Army and IIS Support Section.

  • TDY may be required up to 25% of the time.
