Duties
Serve as Theater Army Exercise Action Officer responsible for managing long-range HQs US Army Pacific (USARPAC) exercise scheduling and identification of future joint, multinational and bilateral exercise list requirements.
Identifies, plans and coordinates the Command long and short range exercises, budget, and personnel requirements for USARPAC exercises.
Researches, develops, evaluates, analyzes, and writes training exercise plans and orders.
Manage a Joint Exercise Life Cycle and Joint Training Information Management System.
Assists action officers in the identification of future force requirements, milestones, training objectives and force list requirements.
Coordinates the Command exercise budget with the G37 Exercise Division Chief, USARPAC G8, and external agencies as appropriate.
Presents the USARPAC command position on operational subjects, projects, and missions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
- Position is subject to pre-employment urinalysis testing and random testing upon employment.
- May be required to deploy with training units under field conditions.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
