The Program Support Assistant will be located in the Home Based Rural Health Program and reports directly to HBPC Rural Health Program Director and ultimately to Associate Chief of Staff for Geriatrics Extended Care (ACOS/GEC). They will perform a variety of administrative and automation functions to support the Geriatrics Extended Care Programs and the HBPC Rural Health staff.
Duties
Major duties include:
Prepares, executes, and/or tracks program-specific information and data.
Serves as the computer and data consultant in preparing report spreadsheets, graphics, tables, and flow sheets that facilitate data analysis.
Responsible for input of required data into the CCHT databases in a timely fashion.
Manages and tracks the fleet vehicle pool assigned to HBPC.
Performs work related to the acquisition and/or development of program information and resource materials to support the program development, educational and technical activities of the department and organization.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining inventory of all telehealth equipment including leased and purchased equipment or in the event of a centralized prosthetic process will be the contact for this process at the program level.
Screens calls and personally answers calls when the requested information concerns routine and procedural requirements.
Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication.
Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and/or schedules conferences.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00 pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 11/02/2023.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: providing clerical, technical, or customer support; receiving and referring phone calls; communicating and treating customers in a courteous, tactful and respectful manner while providing consistent information according to established policies and procedures; and using computer programs to prepare documents. Note: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hour worked per week. OR,
Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed four (4) years of education above the high school level in any field which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. (Transcripts must be submitted at time of application) OR,
Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond two year of education above the high school level.

Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary with short periods of walking or standing and carrying completed light loads of books, reports, or documents. However, there are extensive keyboarding demands in the position. No other special physical demands are required to perform the work. The work environment involves minimal risks and observance of safety precautions typical to an office setting.
