The incumbent serves in the Architect of the Capitol’s Architect’s Mobility Program (AMP) as an Electrician. The position acquires on-the-job training in the basics of electric work, as well as, formal classroom training, and performs progressively more difficult worker level tasks which assist journey level Electrician with more complex duties.  

Duties

NOTE: The selected employee is entitled to retain his/her current salary rate when appointed to the AMP position.

Requirements

  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.
  • Must be a current permanent employee with at least 1 yr of service at AOC.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Ability to perform work in electrician trade occupations and be able to follow directions.
