This position is in the Capital Projects and Facilities Management Division of the District of Columbia Court's Facilities Management Branch. The position is responsible for supporting and ensuring that all DC Court owned buildings and leased facilities are maintained in the highest operational standards of maintenance and repair.  They also provide technical and administrative support to the Facilities Project Manager and the Chief Building Engineer, as needed.

  • Background and security investigation are required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED certificate plus five (5) years of experience in providing facilities and maintenance support a building or building complex. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs (e.g.  Word, Excel, etc.) is required. The incumbent must be licensed to operate a DC Courts' vehicle. Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
