Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to exercise supervisory and managerial duties as the OL-B Director. In addition, this position serves as special advisor to the STARCOM Commander and higher headquarters Senior Staff. Mission: The mission of Operating Location - Bravo is to prepare United States Space Force (USSF) forces to prevail in a contested, degraded, and operationally-limited environment by providing a conduit for close coordination between Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) and the activities associated with the United States Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC).
Ideal Candidate:
Space (e.g. doctrine or strategy), cyber, and/or intelligence operations experience is highly desirable. Expert knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to the USSF mission. Expert knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DOD and Space Force organizations to provide HQ-level staff guidance on technical activities. The incumbent is required to obtain and retain Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access.
Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Expert knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to the USSF mission.
2. Expert knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DOD and Space Force organizations to provide HQ?level staff guidance on technical activities.
3. Expert knowledge of military service program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions as related to actual events.
4. Skill and ability to identify problems, develop and implement innovative detailed strategies to resolve a wide range of programming, budgetary, financial and management issues.
5. Skill and ability to gather, analyze, and present complex facts and develop programming and budgetary strategies.
6. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of subordinate organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Ability to executive complex projects and/or studies within established time constraints

- This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days per pay period.
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at: https://afciviliancareers.com/regulatory/
- PCS funding is authorized.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- Random drug testing may be required depending upon the position being filled.
- Supervisory requirements may be required depending upon the position being filled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret/ SCI security clearance.
