Duties
Serve as the Programs and Project Management Division's Supplemental Program Manager over the Civil Works Supplemental Program.
Serve as the lead coordinator for the implementation of tasks and work products and related efforts in support of delivering the projects under the Supplemental Program.
Manage the analyses, studies, and other technical products prepared under the Supplemental Program in an effort to execute design, commensurate construction and manage cost estimates.
Manage the execution of complex, non-routine levee modifications, engineering assessments, risk and reliability analyses, and infrastructure security.
Advise and review the work of Project Managers.
Perform supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain possession of or ability to acquire a valid state driver's license.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position is temporary in nature. The incumbent will be placed on a term not to exceed (NTE) appointment.
- For current Federal employees, return rights will NOT be eligible to be granted and will be separated at the end of NTE date.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) leading teams in the planning, design and construction of projects relating to civil works, military, or IIS programs;
2) advising senior leaders with corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development and support of projects; AND
3) executing an effective quality management program for products.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
