This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - Region VI in Oklahoma City, OK. Serves as the primary assistant to the District Director and shares in and assists the District Director in all phases of the district's operating programs. Incumbent acts with full authority in the District Director absence.
Duties
As a Program Manager (Deputy District Director), GS-0340-14, you will perform the following duties:
Provides effective leadership, management and oversight required to optimize the deployment of Small Business Administration (SBA) programs and services throughout the District, to achieve the negotiated goals and to better serve the Small Business Community.
Monitor, maintain, and measure quality standards for all programs and services delivered by the District staff. Ensure high standards of efficiency and effectiveness are aligned with Agency mission and client/partner expectations.
Assist the District Director in the development, implementation and achievement of an annual district office plan.
Support the building and maintenance of a viable network of collaborative partnerships with small business and economic development organizations.
Requirements

- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-14: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: developing and communicating the strategy and direction of a team; and leading or supervising the day-to-day operations of a team with regard to business development, marketing and outreach; and applying federal and/or state procurement laws and regulations in the management of a business development team; and one of the following: financial, lending, economic development or human resource matters; and working with government entities and prime contractors to support the accomplishment of their business goals.
