You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MRO LOGISTICS DEPT, Industrial Logistics Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will partner with a diverse group of people and develop a path toward supportability for high use items. You will identify problems, and then develop and implement solutions to overcome constraints. You will ensure processes, procedures, limitations, and responsibilities are understood and followed.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Partner with a diverse group of people and develop a path toward supportability for high use items 2) Communicate both written and orally to ensure processes, procedures, limitations, and responsibilities are understood and followed. 3) Identify problems, and then develop and implement solutions to overcome constraints. 4) Hold self and those around them accountable for their actions and requirements. 5) A knowledge of inventory management concepts. 6) Computer literacy including but not limited to MS-Excel, MS-Word. 7) Understanding of the basics of level III forecasting and demand planning. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
