You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MAINTENANCE REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (MRO) LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT, INDUSTRIAL LOGISITICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will communicate complex topics, to all levels of the workforce, both orally and in written forms. You will analyze, evaluate, and apply the theory, concepts, principles, and practices of Supply Support aspect of logistics to make recommendations with regard to strategic courses of action You will establish working methods and procedures of specific work and set priorities You will utilize with data analysis applications and methods including but not limited to TOAD, Python, QLIK, and Power BI

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Planning and directing the development and execution of Industrial Logistics Division material planning and provisioning to meet Naval Aviation Enterprise aircraft, engine, and component's annual production requirements; Coordinating Gross Demand Planning (GDP) meetings for all product lines to review forecasts and requirements; Researching, answering, and resolves all GDP data questions and providing guidance to solve problems and negotiates solutions; Preparing daily DLA reports for PEB adds, deletes, and adjustments to resolve issues received and address system report actions; Developing strategic plans and lead teams to ensure supply chain metrics improve MRO production line supportability and readiness through innovative approaches influencing Bill of Material accuracy, Material Supportability Effectiveness, and Gross Demand Planning.
